Which Needle Cartridge should I use?

11,16 & 24 Pin – This cartridge is designed to enhance the appearance of acne scars, wrinkles, fine lines, melasma, rosacea, hyperpigmentation, and stimulate collagen production. Users may choose to apply a numbing cream on clean, prepared skin based on the treatment depth, their experience, and whether the device is being used professionally or at home.

36 & 42 Pin – These cartridges are designed to enhance skin hydration, reduce the visibility of stretch marks, and minimize the appearance of large pores. Featuring higher pin counts, they are well-suited for treating larger areas effectively. Similar to lower pin cartridges, some users may choose to apply a numbing cream on cleansed, prepared skin. The decision to do so depends on the treatment depth, the user’s expertise, and whether the device is used in professional settings or at home.

Nano – These cartridges target the epidermis, making them ideal for BB Glow treatments and enhancing overall skin tone. They are also effective in reducing fine lines. Nano Needling aids in better product absorption and may stimulate brow hair regrowth. Due to their gentle nature, nano cartridges can be used more frequently, making them suitable for at-home use without the need for numbing cream.

How to Use Dr Pen Cartridges: 

Important: Microneedling cartridges must be sterilized before each use to ensure the treatment is safe and hygienic. It is essential to follow these steps carefully to ensure that the microneedling cartridges are properly sterilized. Here are the steps to sterilize microneedling cartridges:

1. First, ensure that you have all the necessary sterilization equipment: gloves, an isopropyl alcohol solution (70% or above), and a clean container to hold the solution.
2. Put on your gloves to avoid contaminating the cartridges during the sterilization process.
3. Check on your cartridge; ensure the needles are in perfect condition (i.e. not bending) and remove any debris.
4. Pour enough alcohol solution into the container, dip the cartridge needle into a sterilization container, and soak for a couple of minutes.
5. If you have alcohol solution in a spray model, you can spray it towards the cartridge's needle head.
6. Once the sterilization is complete, allow the cartridge to air dry before using it.
7. Finally, your cartridge is ready for use.
